A Cougar is also known as Puma, Mountain Lion, or Panther, depending on the region.

It is the second heaviest cat in the American continent after the Jaguar, although it is most closely related to smaller felines. Today we also breed the Jaguarette. Along with the Bobcat and the Canadian Lynx, the Cougar is native to Canada.

...but what is a Cougarin?

A Cougarin is a cross between a Bengal cat and an Abyssinian. A Somali is an Abyssinian with the longhair gene, a longhaired Abyssinian so-to-say.
A further out-cross with a Maine Coon will add a lot of size to the new breed.
